Church Bay House

A sombre house that draws on the traditions of Japanese and Californian architecture. Organised around a series of courtyards, the house provides a series of living spaces both in- and outdoor. The obligatory pool completes the languid holiday-like experience of life on Waiheke. Muted natural materials and colours have been chosen; the house is beautifully detailed and executed.
